Treatment for OCD
Your Brain Is Stuck—And There’s a Way Forward

If you’re living with OCD, you know it’s not just about being “neat” or “a little anxious.” It’s relentless. You might be caught in a cycle of unwanted thoughts, images, or urges—followed by rituals, checking, reassurance-seeking, or mental reviewing, all in an effort to feel “just right” or prevent something terrible from happening.
It’s exhausting---isn't it? You probably feel incredibly isolated, like no one can possibly imagine the amount of work that goes on to just get through your day. Maybe you've been told to "just stop thinking that way"—but if it were that easy, you would’ve done it already--- Am I right? The truth is: OCD is not your fault. It’s a disorder that thrives on fear, doubt, and avoidance. You tell OCD to stop and it's like fueling the flame. Want the good news? It's totally treatable.
I help adults and teens manage OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—the gold-standard, evidence-based therapy for OCD. In ERP, you’ll learn how to gradually face the thoughts and situations that trigger your anxiety, while resisting the urge to engage in the compulsions. Over time, your brain learns: you can tolerate the discomfort that comes with OCD. You learn that you are not in danger and you don’t have to obey OCD’s rules to be safe or okay.
Yes, it’s challenging. You will be put in situations that cause distress But it’s also deeply empowering. You’ll gain the skills to respond differently to intrusive thoughts, reduce compulsive behaviors, and start living life on your terms—not on OCD’s.
You don’t have to keep tiptoeing around your fears---you can take back control of your life.
Let’s take it together.
