Treatment for Anxiety

Anxiety is Loud. Your Mind is Always On

Ever have someone tell you---"Just relax!"
If only it were that simple. You are in the midst of a full blown anxiety attack---the last thing you can do is just relax..

When you're dealing with anxiety, your mind rarely shuts off. It feels like you are constantly in overdrive. Ever have that feeling of impending doom at the pit of you stomach? People ask what is wrong and you can't even put it into words--- That's anxiety! Maybe you're constantly overthinking. At night, your brain literally will not shut off. Your body feels tense. Even when things seem “fine,” the worry doesn’t go away—it just shifts to the next what-if.

It’s exhausting!

Anxiety isn’t a flaw—it’s a pattern your brain has learned in order to protect you. In fact, everyone should have a small level of anxiety in order to get things done. Ever worry you may run out of gas in your car...next thing we are doing is pumping gas at the gas station. If you didn't have that anxiety you probably would of ran out of gas miles ago. The problem starts when the anxiety works overtime.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In therapy, you’ll learn to identify the mental habits that fuel your anxiety, challenge unhelpful thinking, and respond to stress in healthier, more effective ways.

You won’t just learn about anxiety—you’ll learn how to take your life back from it. Whether your anxiety shows up as constant worry, panic, social fear, or perfectionism, CBT offers tools that actually work.

Peace of mind is possible; sleeping at night is possible—and it starts by changing how you relate to your thoughts.
