Break the Anxiety Cycle Faster Than Weekly Therapy

Now Booking for March and April 2026

Therapy Intensives for OCD, Anxiety, Panic & Phobias in Pennsylvania: Focused Treatment for Faster, Meaningful Change

Sometimes weekly therapy isn’t enough. Especially when anxiety, OCD, panic, or phobias are significantly limiting your life.

Therapy Intensives are designed for clients who are ready for focused, intentional work and want to build momentum more quickly, without dragging treatment out over months or years.

Therapy Intensives offer structured, evidence‑based care in a condensed format while still being compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you.

This may be right for you if…

  • Anxiety or fear is significantly interfering with daily life

  • You feel stuck despite understanding your anxiety

  • Weekly therapy feels too slow or fragmented

  • You want dedicated time to focus on change

  • You’re motivated and ready to practice skills between sessions

  • You want clear direction, structure, and a plan

Intensives aren’t about doing more therapy, they’re about doing the right work, more deliberately.

What Therapy Intensives are (and aren’t)

Therapy Intensives ARE:

  • Evidence‑based and highly structured

  • Focused on behavioral change, not just insight

  • Centered around ERP and exposure‑based work

  • Collaborative and paced intentionally

  • Designed to reduce avoidance and fear quickly

Therapy Intensives are NOT:

  • Crisis treatment

  • A quick fix or shortcut

  • Overwhelming or forced

  • Talk‑only therapy

The goal is not immediate relief. The goal is lasting change.

What we focus on during an Intensive

Depending on your needs, intensives may include:

  • In‑depth assessment and clear treatment planning

  • Education about how anxiety, OCD, or panic actually works

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

  • Interoceptive and situational exposures

  • Reducing reassurance‑seeking and safety behaviors

  • Practicing new responses in real time

  • Creating a clear plan for continued progress

Every intensive is customized to your diagnosis, goals, and readiness.

Conditions well‑suited for Therapy Intensives

Therapy Intensives are especially effective for:

  • Obsessive‑Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Panic Disorder

  • Phobias and avoidance‑based fears

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

  • Situations where avoidance has significantly narrowed life

If you’re unsure whether an intensive is appropriate, this can be discussed during a consultation.

Why intensives work

Anxiety thrives on delay, avoidance, and uncertainty.

Intensives work because they:

  • Reduce long gaps between sessions

  • Allow repeated, intentional practice

  • Build confidence through lived experience

  • Interrupt avoidance patterns more quickly

  • Create momentum that weekly therapy may take longer to establish

Progress isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about learning differently.

What makes Intensives here different

  • Anxiety and OCD are my specialty

  • ERP is central, not optional

  • Mental and physical compulsions are addressed

  • Treatment is structured but flexible

  • You’ll understand why we’re doing each step

  • Compassion and challenge are balanced intentionally

You won’t be rushed, but you also won’t be stuck.

What clients often notice after an Intensive

  • Less fear of anxiety or bodily sensations

  • Reduced avoidance and reassurance‑seeking

  • Increased confidence handling uncertainty

  • Clear next steps instead of confusion

  • A renewed sense of trust in themselves

Intensives don’t eliminate anxiety, they change your relationship with it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a therapy intensive? A therapy intensive is a short-term, focused format of therapy that provides extended sessions over a condensed period of time (such as multiple hours per day over several days). Intensives allow for deeper work, skill practice, and faster momentum than traditional weekly therapy.

How is an intensive different from weekly therapy? Weekly therapy offers steady support over time, while intensives create immersion and continuity. With fewer gaps between sessions, clients can stay engaged in the work, practice skills in real time, and often experience progress more quickly.

Are therapy intensives overwhelming? Intensives are designed to be supportive and paced, not overwhelming. You are never forced into anything. The work is collaborative, and breaks are built in as needed. The goal is progress, not pushing you past your limits.

Can I pay over time? Yes! We accept Klarna and Affirm, allowing you to split your intensive into smaller, manageable payments.

Do I need to continue therapy afterward? Many clients find follow-up therapy helpful, but the intensive alone often provides a strong foundation. Recommendations for ongoing support will be provided if appropriate.

Can I do an intensive online? Yes! All of our intensives can be completed securely via telehealth, making them accessible anywhere in Pennsylvania.

Do I need to stop my regular therapy to do an intensive? No. Many clients continue with weekly therapy before or after an intensive. Intensives often work best as a complement to ongoing care or as a short-term jump-start.

Are therapy intensives covered by insurance? Intensives are offered as private-pay services and are not covered by insurance due to insurance not covering the length of time that an intensive requires.
